ORDER. On October 22, 2026, Mr. Aguas filed a petition for a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2241. (Doc. 1). Mr. Aguas has asked the Court to enter an expedited show cause order and to order the respondents to produce his immigration A-file. (Doc. 2 ). Within three days of this order, the respondents shall show cause, in writing, why the Court should not grant Mr. Aguas's petition. The respondents shall produce, with their response, Mr. Aguas's immigration A-file, all records reflecting the statutory basis asserted for petitioners detention, any administrative warrants or custody determinations, and other records bearing upon the true cause of Mr. Aguas's detention. To permit time for briefing and, if necessary, an evidentiary hearing, the Court enjoins the respondents from transporting Mr. Aguas outside the Northern District of Alabama until further order by this Court.
