** TEXT ONLY ORDER ** Petitioner Miguel Gomez Nahuacatl, a detainee who represents himself, has filed a petition for a writ of habeas corpus under 28 U.S.C. § 2241, challenging his detention by federal immigration officials at the Dodge Detention Facility in Juneau, Wisconsin. (Dkt. # 1 .) Section 2241(d) permits a prisoner to file his habeas petition in the district where he is confined or where he was convicted and sentenced. Petitioner does not challenge a conviction or sentence and the Dodge Detention Facility where petitioner is confined is located in the Eastern District of Wisconsin. Accordingly, in the interests of justice, the clerk's office is ORDERED to TRANSFER this action to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2241(d).
