TEXT ORDER: This matter comes before the Court upon Pro Se Petitioner Segundo Vargas Ashqui's petition for writ of habeas corpus under 28 U.S.C. § 2241 (ECF No. 1, Petition) alleging his detention by immigration authorities is unlawful. In lieu of the $5 filing fee prescribed by 28 U.S.C. § 1914, Petitioner applied to proceed in forma pauperis under 28 U.S.C. § 1915(a) (ECF No. 1-2, IFP Application). In his IFP Application, Petitioner reports zero income, assets, and expenses, which the Court construes as an incomplete. The IFP application is DENIED without prejudice. Petitioner may cure this defect by submitting the $5 filing fee or a properly completed IFP application to the Court within fourteen (14) days, upon which the Court will direct Respondents to file an expedited answer to the Petition.
