MINUTE ORDER (text only) made at the direction of Judge Tana Lin: The Court acknowledges receipt of Petitioner's Motion for Temporary Restraining Order ("Motion for TRO") (Dkt. No. 2 ). In light of the since-issued scheduling order (Dkt. No. 4 ), which requires Respondents to "provide Petitioner(s) and Petitioner(s)' counsel in this habeas action at least 48 hours' notice... prior to any action to move or transfer any Petitioner(s) from the Western District of Washington" and to "file the notice of intent to transfer or remove on the Court's docket," the Court will reserve ruling on the Motion for TRO (if opposed) until the Motion for TRO is fully briefed or until Respondents file a notice to the docket of their intent to transfer or remove Petitioner. Respondents are ADVISED that they are bound by the Scheduling Order as an Order of this Court, and that any violation of that Order could subject Respondents to sanctions. The Court further CLARIFIES that notice of intent to transfer Petitioner must be filed on the Court's docket at least 48 hours before Petitioner may be transferred or removed. Counsel for Respondents are DIRECTED to immediately inform their clients of their obligations under the Scheduling Order and this Minute Order. (CJS) (Entered: 09/08/2026)
