ORDER DISMISSING CASE - IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Bottier's 1 28 U.S.C. § 2241 petition is GRANTED. Respondents SHALL release Bottier from custody within 48 hours of the date of this Order. The Government shall not arrest, detain, or oth erwise take Bottier into custody in relation to his immigration status for a period of fourteen days following his release from custody. Should Bottier be redetained pursuant to § 1226(a), the Government shall provide him with a bond hearing as soon as reasonably practicable at which the Government shall bear the burden of proof by clear and convincing evidence. Respondents SHALL file a certification with the Court on or before Friday, 9/25/2026, confirming that Bottier has been released from custody. The Clerk of Court is directed to CLOSE this case.
