(In Chambers) Order by Judge Stanley Blumenfeld, Jr.: Petitioner filed a petition for a writ of habeas corpus. If the government does not oppose the relief sought in the petition, it shall promptly notify the Court. Otherwise, the government shall file a response by September 10, and Petitioner shall file any reply no later than September 14, 2026. In its response, the government shall address whether the Court should waive the prudential requirement for Petitioner to exhaust his administrative remedies by appealing the bond determination to the Board of Immigration Appeals. Failure to substantively address the arguments in the petition may be construed as consent to granting the requested relief. To facilitate prompt resolution of the petition, Petitioner should file any reply earlier if practicable. The parties may stipulate to proceed before the assigned magistrate judge for all purposes by September 10.
