ORDER re: 3 "Amended Writ of Habeas Corpus" and 2 "Emergency Motion for Temporary Restraining Order...." The request at Docket No. 2 is GRANTED IN PART. To that end, respondents shall not transfer petitioner outside of the District of Puerto Rico until he has been granted a bond hearing before an Immigration Judge and the petition at Docket No. 3 has been ruled on. Not later than September 8, 2026, respondents shall provide petitioner with a bond hearing before an immigration judge. If respondents fail to provide such hearing by this deadline, they shall immediately release petitioner. Not later than September 15, 2026, respondents shall: (1) file an informative motion confirming that petitioner has either been granted a bond hearing in compliance with this Order (and whether bond has been posted) or been released from custody; and (2) respond to the amended petition at Docket No. 3.
