PAPERLESS ORDER. THIS CAUSE came before the Court upon sua sponte review of the record. Upon reviewing the Parties' briefing at (ECF Nos. 1, 4-6), the Court has additional questions concerning the status of Petitioner's removal proceedings and the basis for Petitioner's continued detention. Accordingly, UPON CONSIDERATION, the pertinent portions of the record, and being otherwise fully advised in the premises, is it hereby ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that on or before September 16, 2026, Respondents shall file supplemental briefing addressing the following: (1) whether Petitioner's removal proceedings were ever dismissed and, if so, the effect of that dismissal on Petitioner's current detention and removal proceedings; (2) whether Petitioner currently has pending removal proceedings or, if not, the basis for Petitioner's continued detention; and (3) whether Respondents have provided, or intend to provide, Petitioner with another bond hearing. On or before September 18, 2026, Petitioner shall respond to Respondents' supplemental briefing and shall additionally address the following: (1) whether Petitioner is seeking a bond hearing; (2) if Petitioner's removal proceedings were dismissed but have since been reimplemented, how that development affects Petitioner's analysis and what relief Petitioner now seeks; and (3) if Petitioner's removal proceedings were never dismissed, what relief Petitioner seeks.
