TEXT ORDER: The Court has reviewed the Petition for a Writ of Habeas Corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2241 filed by Petitioner, proceeding pro se, who is presently detained at Delaney Hall Detention Facility in Newark, New Jersey. (ECF No. 1.) According to the petition, Petitioner was detained by ICE on July 29, 2026. Petitioner alleges that he has three United States citizen children, is employed and has no criminal history. Petitioner further alleges that he is not a flight risk or danger to the community. Petitioner requests immediate release from immigration custody. (Id.) Accordingly, it is ORDERED that Respondents shall SHOW CAUSE, within seven (7) days of the date of this Order, why the Petition should not be granted. Petitioner may file a reply within three (3) business days after Respondents file their response. Petitioner shall serve a copy of the Petition and this Order upon Respondents within two (2) business days of the entry of this Order and shall promptly file proof of service on the docket.
