MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS of the Honorable Judge Richard F. Boulware, II on 8/10/2026.Before the Court is Petitioner Edilberto Leal Valenzuela's Motion for Joinder and for an Extension of Time (ECF No. 6 ). First, the Court DEFERS consideration of Mr. Valenzuela's request to join additional parties, as he is already submitting an amended petition which will, presumably, name them. See Order Appointing Counsel 4, ECF No. 3 (July 24, 2026). Of course, Mr. Valenzuela is welcome to renew his arguments in favor of joinder if they are still necessary when he files his amended petition. Second, the Court finds good cause for a brief extension of time, particularly because it is unopposed. See Mot. to Extend 6, ECF No. 6 (Aug. 7, 2026). Therefore, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED Petitioner's Unopposed Motion to Extend (ECF No. 6 ) is GRANTED.
