PAPERLESS ORDER dismissing Petitioner's Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus (the "Petition"), [ECF No. 1], as moot. In his Petition, Petitioner alleged that he was being held without an individualized custody determination and requested that he be released or, in the alternative, provided a bond hearing. On July 24, 2026, following a custody determination hearing, an immigration judge ordered that Petitioner be released from custody under a bond of $5,000. [ECF No. 6-7]. Because Petitioner has been afforded the relief he requested in the Petition, this action must be dismissed as moot. See Al Najjar v. Ashcroft, 273 F.3d 1330, 1336 (11th Cir. 2001) ("If events that occur subsequent to the filing of a lawsuit or an appeal deprive the court of the ability to give the plaintiff or appellant meaningful relief, then the case is moot and must be dismissed.")This case is closed. Signed by Judge Darrin P. Gayles on 7/28/2026. (hs01) (Entered: 07/28/2026)
