MINUTE ORDER (Text Only Entry) signed by Magistrate Judge Frank J. Singer on 8/4/2026: MINUTE ORDER (Text Only Entry): On August 3, 2026, Respondents filed a motion to dismiss, (Doc. 5), indicating that Petitioner has a pending petition in Mendez-Drago v. Warden, Case No. 3:26-cv-00962-WWB-LLL (M.D. Fla.), that may be duplicative of this action. If Petitioner prefers that this petition move forward on the merits before this court, Petitioner may file a notice of voluntary dismissal in Mendez-Drago v. Warden, Case No. 3:26-cv-00962-WWB-LLL (M.D. Fla.), and then inform this court of that dismissal. Upon any notice that the petition in Mendez-Drago v. Warden, Case No. 3:26-cv-00962-WWB-LLL (M.D. Fla.) is dismissed, this court would then act on the petition currently pending before this court. (Deputy Clerk YV) (Entered: 08/04/2026)
