ORDER On July 11, 2026, the Court issued an order (ECF No. 19) holding in abeyance its ruling on Bernard Kabore's petition for writ of habeas corpus pending his July 14, 2026 hearing before the Chelmsford Massachusetts Immigration Court but ordering Attorney Beretich to file a status report within 48 hours of the bond hearing. Following its July 14, 2026 order, Attorney Beretich confirmed on July 15, 2026 that the Immigration Judge had ordered Mr. Kabore's release pending the filing of a bond in the amount of $4,000, but Attorney Beretich requested that the Court continue to hold the petition in abeyance pending submission of the $4,000 bond and Mr. Kabore's release for custody. (ECF No. 20). On July 22, 2026, the Court ordered Attorney Beretich to file a status report by Friday, July 24, 2026. (ECF No. 21). Attorney Beretich failed to comply with the court order.
