Petitioner shall, by overnight mail and email, serve respondents with a copy of the petition and this order on or before June 26, 2026. Petitioner shall file proof of service. Within seven days of service, respondents shall show cause why the petition for writ of habeas corpus should not be granted. See Yassine v. Collins, 2025 WL 1954064, at *1 (W.D. Tex. July 7, 2025) (although § 2243 refers to three days, "the time limits in § 2243 are subordinate to the district court's authority to set deadlines under Rule 4 of Rules Governing Section 2254 Cases in the United States District Courts" and noting that "Courts have found that a fourteen-day deadline to respond to show cause orders is reasonable.")
