ORDER ON MOTION TO APPOINT COUNSEL. The Court thus ORDERS:(1) The Clerk SHALL STRIKE the current scheduling order issued on June 22, 2026. Dkt. No. 7 .(2) This matter is referred to the Office of the Federal Public Defender ("FPD") for review.(3) Within fourteen (14) days of the date this Order, the FPD shall advise the Court whether it intends to seek appointment in this matter. If the FPD determines that it will seek appointment in this matter, it shall assist Petitioner in preparing a revised motion for appointment of counsel.(4) If appointment will be sought in this matter, the FPD shall also submit a proposed revised briefing schedule after consultation with counsel for Respondents within seventeen (17) days of this Order.(5) Should the FPD inform the Court that it is not seeking appointment in this matter, Respondents' return SHALL be due fourteen (14) days from the filing of the notice of declination by the FPD, and any traverse by Petitioner SHALL be filed fourteen (14) days from the filing of Respondents' response.(6) The Government SHALL provide Petitioner at least seven (7) days (168 hours) notice prior to any action to move or transfer him from the Western District of Washington or to remove him from the United States.(7) The Clerk is DIRECTED to re-note Petitioner's Motion to Appoint Counsel (Dkt.
