MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS of the Honorable Judge Gloria M. Navarro on 7/1/2026. Before the Court is the 8 Motion to Enforce the Court's Appointment Order and Motion for Extension of Time filed by Petitioner Yaidier Lopez requesting that the Court order Federal Respondents to produce certain documents and extend Petitioner's time to file an Amended Petition. In its 3 Order, the Court ordered Federal Respondents to produce (1) I-200 Warrant for Arrest of Alien; (2) Form I-286 Initial Custody Determination; (3) I-862 Notice to Appear; (4) Form I 213 Record of Deportable or Inadmissible Alien; (5) all immigration court orders in Petitioners removal proceedings; (6) documents certifying any appeal of any immigration court orders by Department of Homeland Security or Petitioner; and (7) transcripts and/or audio recordings of any custody redetermination proceedings. (Motion 3:21-23, ECF No. 8). Further, Petitioner states that Federal Respondents have failed to produce transcripts or audio recordings of Petitioner's May, 2026 bond hearing. (Id. 3:23-25). Accordingly, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the 8 Motion is GRANTED. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Federal Respondents must either produce, no later than July 7, 2026, (1) the I-286 form which reflects Petitioner's most recent detention by ICE, and (2) any transcripts or audio recordings of Petitioner's May, 2026 bond hearing, or show cause why these documents cannot be produced. Additionally, for good cause appearing, IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Petitioner must file an Amended Petition no later than July 14, 2026. Respondents must file a Response by July 21, 2026, and Petitioner may file a Reply no later than July 28, 2026. (Copies have been distributed pursuant to the NEF - JHM) (Entered: 07/01/2026)
