Kaufman: On June 16, 2026, Respondents filed an Answer in which they indicated that Petitioner had withdrawn his appeal to the Board of Immigration Appeals ("BIA") and requested his return to El Salvador. Dkt. 6 at 1-2. Petitioner subsequently submitted a filing that included a BIA decision granting Petitioner's motion to withdraw his appeal and returning his case to the Immigration Court. Dkt. 9 at 4. It is unclear from these filings whether Petitioner has any remaining claims pending in the Immigration Court or if he is subject to an executable removal order. Accordingly, Respondents are ORDERED to file a status report on or before July 13, 2026, to provide an update on the status of Petitioner's removal case and his potential removal to El Salvador.
