Text Order: TEXT ORDER: This matter comes before the Court upon a Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2241 filed by Petitioner Bradly Lazo Ovalle ("Petitioner"), proceeding pro se. (ECF No. 1.) Petitioner, a native and citizen of Peru, alleges that he entered the United States in March 2023, timely sought asylum, has a pending application for asylum and related relief, possesses valid employment authorization, has continuously complied with immigration requirements, and remains in ongoing removal proceedings with an immigration hearing scheduled for November 27, 2029. Petitioner asserts that his continued detention violates the Due Process Clause of the Fifth Amendment. (Id.) Petitioner may file a reply within three (3) business days after Respondents file their response.
