While not a dispositive motion, the Motion to Reconsider seeks reconsideration of a dispositive order, thus it is not clearly in violation of Local Rule 7.1(b). In the future, a better practice would be to seek permission from the Court in advance. Nonetheless, the Court will not strike the Motion. As to the Motion being "unnecessarily verbose and duplicative", if such was the standard it would result in many motions being stricken.
