ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE AND SETTING BRIEFING SCHEDULE. Respondents are ordered to file an answer that shows cause why the petitioner's writ should not be granted by no later than June 8, 2026. No. 3) addressing whether the government will commit not to remove the petitioner pending the Court's resolution of the petitioner's habeas petition, as well as whether the respondents will give the petitioner's counsel and the Court notice prior to moving the petitioner outside the Court's jurisdiction. ORDER. The Court has carefully considered the factual allegations and legal contentions raised in the petition. The Court has also considered hundreds of habeas petitions that sought relief on the same grounds raised in Escobedo Gomez's petition. Escobedo Gomez's arguments in the petition are the same as the arguments raised in the cases referenced in this order. The Court previously found the arguments unavailing. The Court has considered them anew in this petition and concludes that habeas relief is unwarranted. Accordingly, the petition (Dkt. No. 1) is denied.
