If counsel is not a member of the Eastern District of California Criminal Justice Act ("CJA") Panel, the court hereby authorizes them to serve as Pro Hac Vice CJA counsel for Petitioner for the duration of the proceedings in this court pursuant to Local Rule 180(b)(1). If counsel is not admitted to practice before the Eastern District of California, pursuant to 18 U.S.C. §§ 3005 and 3006A and this District's CJA Plan, General Order 700, § XV.C.1.g as applied here, the court hereby authorizes said counsel's Pro Hac Vice admission to practice before this court for the duration of the proceedings, nunc pro tunc to the date the appointing authority first contacted counsel about this appointment. FINDINGS and RECOMMENDATIONS (Text Only): On 5/15/2026, Petitioner (A No. 208 560 754) filed a 1 Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus seeking release from ICE custody. On 6/15/2026, in Case No. 1:26-cv-4146 DAD CKD P, Petitioner's 2 Petition for a Writ of Habeas Corpus was granted, Petitioner was ordered released, and judgment was entered. In light of the record before the court, IT IS HEREBY RECOMMENDED that the 1 Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus filed in this action be dismissed as moot. These Findings and Recommendations are submitted to the United States District Judge assigned to the case, pursuant to the provisions of 28 U.S.C. § 636(b)(l). Within 14 (fourteen) days after being served with these Findings and Recommendations, either party may file written objections with the court. The document should be captioned "Objections to Magistrate Judge's Findings and Recommendations."
