This is a text only entry; no document issued. ORDER granting in part and denying in part 2 Motion for TRO. In what apparently has become a fundamental page of the immigration habeas playbook, the Court has received yet another "emergency motion" for TRO seeking release from detention. The Court understands the importance of ruling on the multitude of petitions that have populated its docket in recent months, but not every one is a legal emergency. To maintain the status quo and preserve the Court's jurisdiction, the Court does order Respondents not to remove Petitioner from the Stewart Detention Center until further order of the Court. The Magistrate Judge shall set a briefing schedule in order to decide the underlying substantive claims expeditiously. Ordered by US DISTRICT JUDGE CLAY D LAND on April 29, 2026 (CDL) (Entered: 04/29/2026)
