SHOW CAUSE ORDER by Chief Judge Greg N. Stivers on 11/6/2025. The Clerk of Court shall forward by certified mail, return receipt requested one copy of the Petition DN 1, and this Order on each Respondent and the United States Attorney for the Western District of Kentucky. On or before 11/12/2025, Respondents shall SHOW CAUSE why the writ of habeas corpus should not be granted. On or before 11/14/2025, Petitioner may file his reply. The parties shall appear before this Court for a hearing on the Petition on 11/18/2025, at 10:30 AM CT at the U.S. Courthouse in Owensboro, Kentucky. Petitioner may appear by Zoom if the option is available with the Hopkins County Jail and so long as Petitioner's appearance is not required as set forth in the following paragraph. Within 5 days of the entry of this order, a neutral immigration judge in the Chicago area shall determine whether Refugi o Ibarra Del Villar may remain out on bond during the pendency of removal proceedings pursuant to 8 U.S.C. § 1226.
