ORDER re: 15 Respondents' Status Report. The respondents report that "Petitioner's travel document remains pending with the Vietnamese government, and Respondents expect the travel document to be issued soon." Doc. 15 at 2. Their status report does not provide the information the Court indicated would assist in its evaluation of whether the petitioner's removal is reasonably foreseeable. See Doc. 14 at 5-6 (noting lack of information regarding what percentage of travel-document requests Vietnam has granted in recent months, or information regarding how long it typically takes the government of Vietnam to respond to a travel-document request). The Court is aware, however, of another recent case in which the government of Vietnam issued a travel document on 7/27/2026 in response to a request submitted on 2/8/2026. See Pham v. Baltazar, No. 1:26-cv-01747-DDD-STV (D. Colo. filed Apr. 24, 2026). In this case, the petitioner's travel-document request was submitted on 2/27/2026. Doc. 14 at 3. Accordingly, I will give the respondents one more opportunity to submit a status report regarding the petitioner's travel document, any evidence supporting their expectation that the travel document will be issued soon, any other progress they have made toward effectuating his removal, and any other information bearing on whether his removal is reasonably foreseeable. It is therefore ORDERED that the respondents must file a status report on or before 9/3/2026 regarding their efforts to effectuate the petitioner's removal and whether his removal is reasonably foreseeable.SO ORDERED by Chief Judge Daniel D. Domenico on 08/25/2026. Text Only Entry. (agryan) (Entered: 08/25/2026)

ORDER.The respondents report that on 9/30/2026, the government of Vietnam issued a travel document for the petitioner, and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is in the process of arranging a flight to remove the petitioner.
